您的英文真地道,见解也是高屋建瓴,非常佩服。
请问怎样才能练就这样的英语水平?:)
when I came to America more than three decades ago, Mexico, Canada and the US were working together to create the largest free-trade bloc in the world, NAFTA.
Building on that success, Wall Street had their eyes on what they believed to be the last frontier, impoverished China. With the influx of capitals, technologies and job opportunities from the US and other western nations, China quickly rose to be a manufacturing powerhouse and replaced Mexico and Canada to become the top trading partner of the US.
What the Wall Street and the West in general didn't know was that they couldn't benefit from a rogue nation like China that does not honor any treaty or contractual obligations. The relationship could only benefit China, and China turns around to threaten the West.
The US and its western partners finally realized and admitted their mistakes. Only birds of a feather can flock together. Now it's time to remove China from the equation.
NAFTA once again becomes the most important economic pillar of the US. We are going back to the world of 30 years ago. At that time, the US was a superpower, and China was nothing.
Decoupling with China won't happen overnight. We all understand it will take years to completely roll back the economic integrations and cut off linkages. Nevertheless, the progress so far has been encouraging and amazing.

Exclusive-China invites global investors for rare meeting as economy sputters
The gathering comes at a time when global investors and banks are warning that confidence is waning in China's economic outlook. A post-pandemic recovery is quickly losing steam and Sino-U.S. relations are at a low over national security issues -- including Taiwan, U.S. export bans on advanced technologies and China's state-led industrial policies.
中国现在是真的慌了。呵呵。明年肯定比今年差,要不然也不会饥不择食。

标题党又在偷点击率,两年前中国就不是美国最大进口国了,现在拿旧饭出来新炒,够恶心的。
