爱因斯坦又说对了! 旋转黑洞被证会存在拖曳效应

由来自全球 45 个研究机构的科研人员组成的国际科研团队通过分析多个甚长基线干涉测量(VLBI)网在 2000 年至 2022
年的观测资料,发现 M87 星系中心黑洞喷流呈现週期性摆动,摆动週期约为 11 年,振幅约为 10 度。
这一现象符合爱因斯坦的广义相对论关于「如果黑洞处于旋转状态,会存在拖曳效应」的预测。
这项研究成果成功地将 M87 星系中心黑洞喷流的动力学与该星系中心超大品质黑洞的状态联繫起来,为 M87
黑洞自旋的存在提供了有力的观测证据。相关研究成果于台北时间 27 日在《自然》杂志上发表。
研究团队基于观测结果进行了大量细緻的理论研究和分析,并使用超级电脑进行了最新的结合 M87 性质的数值模拟。
其结果证实了当吸积盘的旋转轴与黑洞的自旋轴存在夹角时,会因参考系拖曳效应导致整个吸积盘的进动,而喷流受吸积盘的影响也产生进动。
探测到喷流的进动可为 M87 中心黑洞的自旋提供有力的观测证据,带来对超大品质黑洞性质的新认知。
