今年发放奖金的公司减少,对于已经面对就业市场放缓的白领来说,不啻是另一打击。最新民意调查访问200多家大中小企业后发现,今年有34%的公司不会发放年终奖金,比例超出去年的27%,也打破了2019年以来的纪录。
据《华尔街日报》报道,减少发放奖金的情况在华尔街尤为明显。金融服务业薪酬咨询公司Johnson
Associates的数据显示,为并购提供建议的投资银行家,今年的奖金发放预计比去年下降25%。股票交易员可能会看到奖金下降5%至10%。
其他数据显示,科技业的裁员潮在2022年底逐渐扩大,迄今为止共有近40万名员工被裁。裁员潮在今年蔓延到高盛(Goldman
Sachs)、福特汽车(Ford Motor)和马士基(A.P.
Moller-Maersk)等公司,而新员工的薪酬在经过多年增长后开始萎缩。
包括微软、沃尔格林联合博姿(WBA)和脸书母公司Meta
Platforms在内的公司,已经警告一些员工说今年将取消或减少奖金。专家表示,虽然通胀放缓让公司得以松一口气,减少了发放奖金来留住员工的压力,尤其是在许多高管为明年增长放缓做准备的情况下。
